The newborn lounger nest was designed to be a safe space for parents to place their newborn while freeing their hands to accomplish some nearby task. The loungers are meant to be soft and comfortable, ensuring newborns feel safe and secure despite being relinquished from their parents' strong hands. 

Additionally, the loungers can also be used to place newborns down, on their backs, while their parents actively stimulate and engage them. 

However, despite the guaranteed comfort of the loungers, the newborn lounger nest is not a sleep product. The product should never be used within any capacity of sleep activities. With a sleeping newborn, the lounger can not only be uncomfortable but also potentially dangerous, given the close proximity to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. 

Should you find your newborn falling asleep in the product, remove them immediately and place them on a firm, flat surface that complies with mandatary sleep standards, such as a crib or bassinet.
